Dr. Amani Owaidah graduated from the University of Dammam (formerly King Faisal University) with a Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology 2004. After graduation, Dr. Owaidah joined King Fahd Medical Military Complex (KFMMC) as a technologist in the Blood Bank. In 2008, she received a full -time scholarship through King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Scholarship program to pursue her post graduate studies in the United Kingdom. Dr. Owaidah graduated with a Master’s degree with a Merit in Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences from the University of Bristol in 2009. She then continued her four year of research in Stem Cell Biology and Cartilage tissue engineering at the University of Bristol, leading to the award of a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine in May 2014. In September 2014, Dr. Owaidah joined the University of Dammam as an assistant professor in the Collage of Applied Medical Sciences. She teaches undergraduate students Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine.

Dr. Abdullah graduated from King Saud University, Riyadh, K.S.A (1997) with a Bachelor Degree in Applied Medical Sciences (Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Dr. Abdullah joined king Fahad Central Hospital in Jazan, and worked as medical technologist for a number of years followed by promotion to blood bank supervisor in 1999. In 2005, Dr. Abdullah completed MSc in Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences from College of Medical Sciences, University of Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdome. In his joining back to Jazan Centerl hospital, Dr. Abdullah was appointed as blood bank department head, quality standards instructor for Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions, Council of Healthcare, and Saudi Arabia. In 2012, he was awarded PhD in Medicine & Therapeutics (Immunohaematology) from Academic Transfusion Medicine Unit, Division of Applied Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Currently, Dr. Abdullah is director of laboratories & blood banks administration in Jazan Health and the vice president of the Saudi Society of Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Abdullah has published and presented many papers locally and internationally.

Jasem graduated from King Saudi University in Riyadh with Bachelor in clinical laboratory sciences, 2000. In 2001, Jasem join Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh where he assigned as medical technologist in the blood bank department. In 2013, Jasem completed SBB program and Master of Science in transfusion medicine from Marquette University, WI, USA. Jasem is certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Asian Institute of Quality Management and hold a Diploma in Quality Improvement and patient safety from the Joint Commission International-Ministry of Defense affiliated program. Currently, Jasem is senior blood bank specialist.

Ms. Nourah graduated from King Saud University in Riyadh in 2007 with Clinical Laboratory Science degree. She's worked since then as medical scientist in blood bank department of Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh. in 2013, Ms Nourah completed master degree in molecular biology from Georgetown University, USA.
